The Polish National Credit Union is celebrating its’ 100th Anniversary next year! Can you believe that?
Help us celebrate our Anniversary by submitting your photos! The top 12 photos (voted on by the public) will be used in our 2021 100th Anniversary Calendar!
The Polish National Credit Union’s 100th Anniversary Photo Contest begins Monday, June 15, 2020 and ends Friday, July 31, 2020. By submitting a photo, each contestant agrees to the following.
The 100th Anniversary Photo Contest is open to individuals 16 years or older. This contest is open to the public; you do not need to be a member.
Community– Portraits and photos of group or individuals participating in community activities or events in Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire and Franklin counties of Massachusetts, or Hartford, Litchfield or Tolland counties of Connecticut.
Landscape– Landscape photos taken in Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire and Franklin counties of Massachusetts, or Hartford, Litchfield or Tolland counties of Connecticut.
Business– Photos of businesses and business owners and employees working in the communities of Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire and Franklin counties of Massachusetts, or Hartford, Litchfield or Tolland counties of Connecticut.
Big Dreams– Have you been able to finance any of your big dreams or goals with a loan from the Polish National Credit Union? Show us your home, boat, car, etc.
Photos must have been photographed since January 1, 2019. The contest certifies that the individual submitting the photo is the sole creator and copyright owner of the photo.
For a photo in which a person is recognized, a release from the subject or, in the case of a minor, the subject’s parent or guardian, is required and must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Similarly, entrants who depict other individuals work (such as sculptures, statues, painting and other copyrightable works) must submit a release form from the rights holder to email@example.com.
Not sure if your photo requires a release form? The Polish National Credit Union will be in touch with you if a release form was not submitted and is required upon review.
All photos must be submitted in JPEG, JPG, PNG or PDF format and at the highest resolution possible. Photos with low resolution will not print properly; therefore, will be ineligible for judging. Only one photo will be accepted per individual.
A brief summary describing the photo is required. Summary must not exceed 4-5 sentences.
Photo entries will be judged based on creativity, quality, originality and ability to meet above guidelines. The Polish National Credit Union 100th Anniversary Photo Contest Committee will meet and select the top 20 photos. The selected photos will be displayed on the Polish National Credit Union’s website where the public will be able to cast their vote for the final 12 photos. The voting period begins Saturday, August 1, 2020 and ends Monday, August 31, 2020. The 12 photos with the most votes will be featured in the 2021 100th Anniversary Calendar.
The Polish National Credit Union will notify the 12 winners via the contact information provided at the time of entry. Each winner will receive 10 copies of the calendar to distribute to whomever they’d like. Please do not contact us about the status of entries or judging.
You retain your rights to your photo; however, by entering the 100th Anniversary Photo Contest, you grant the Polish National Credit Union a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivate works on the entries, in whole or in part, in any advertisement or promotion of the credit union and its website, exhibition and commercial product. Any photo reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. The Polish National Credit Union will not be required to pay an additional consider or seek any additional approval in connection with such use.
