Financial Elder Abuse Workshops

What are they?
Since 2017, the Polish National Credit Union has been organizing and conducting a series of Financial Elder Abuse Workshops. Representatives from the Credit Union and public figures lead these educations workshops to shed light on the growing number number of financial schemes being perpetrated against our elderly and what to do to avoid fraud.

Why we do them?
We recognized the importance of giving elderly the tools they need to stop fraud in its’ tracks. Our employee’s are able to recognize suspicious activity, but they can only do so much. It starts with having the knowledge to identify when an encounter feels off. These educational workshops are meant to empower our seniors to make informed decisions regarding their finances.
