October is Polish Heritage Month and yesterday, PNCU was honored at the State House in Boston where we received the “Excellence in Business Award” presented by State Senator Jim Welch. Congratulations to The Polish Center of Discovery and Learning at Elms College for receiving the “Cultural Enrichment Award” and to Mayor Richard Kos for receiving the “Community Leadership Award.”
The celebration also included words from Mr. Marek Lesniewski-Lass, Former Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland; Ms. Carly Liquori, Miss Polonia 2020; Mr. Marcin Bolec, White Eagle Newspaper Editor in Chief; State Representative Michael J. Finn; State Representative Joseph F. Wagner and Senator Jim Welch. A huge thank you to all the Chicopee elected officials who attended this event and to Gina Kos and John Beaulieu for making travel arrangements/ organizing this wonderful event. Additional thanks to Bonnie Vallon and Ela Vickers, who accepted this award on behalf of PNCU and to the numerous PNCU employees who showed their support.
