Your PSFCU Visa Debit Card will continue to work. Please continue to use this as usual. Later this summer, you will receive a new, contactless PNCU debit MasterCard®, but all members will receive a separate notice before the change occurs. Please note the limits on your Debit Cards will increase to $2,000 per day for all point-of-sale transactions and $500 per-day for all cash withdrawals at ATMs.

Yes. Members that have a share account with a positive balance as of August 31, 2021 will receive an extraordinary dividend based on the August 31, 2021 aggregate account balance on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Premier Source Federal Credit Union will become The Polish National Credit Union (PNCU).

The headquarters/ Main Office will be in Chicopee, MA at 46 Main Street. Premier Source’s Main Office at 232 N. Main Street in East Longmeadow, MA will become a PNCU branch. The hours will remain unchanged, so you can continue to bank when and where you do now.

All Premier Source Federal Credit Union employees that now serve you will become employees of PNCU.

This is a win-win for all parties involved for several reasons. Premier Source Federal Credit Union is able to grow its’ geographic presence and access for both members making it easier and more convenient to bank than ever before. We are also able to preserve the credit union culture by combining with a congenial partner, like PNCU.

Yes. Both credit union’s Board of Directors and management support the anticipated merger. All parties agree that the joining of Premier Source and PNCU will result in more growth opportunities. Both credit union’s share the same community visions and commitment to members.

The effective date of the merger is June 1, 2022.

PNCU was founded in 1921 by a group of 15 Polish immigrants with an initial investment of $325. Since its’ founding over 100 years ago, PNCU has grown to be a full-service community credit union with a complete line of personal and business banking products, investment services and insurance products. While most of our growth has been organic, we have successfully integrated 5 credit unions through mergers. We currently serve the following counties;
Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire and Franklin in Massachusetts and Hartford, Tolland, and Litchfield in Connecticut. Today, PNCU stands strong and proud with 7 branch offices located in Chicopee, Granby, Westfield, Southampton, Hampden and Wilbraham, MA. PNCU has a commercial Loan Center in Westfield, MA and a property and casualty insurance agency, Chirgwin Insurance, a division of PNCU Insurance Services, LLC located in Holyoke, MA. We also have a school branch located inside Chicopee Comprehensive High School from where we run an internship program.

James P. Kelly will continue to be the CEO of PNCU and Bonnie Raymond, CEO of Premier Source will become Senior Vice President, Member Experience of PNCU.

PNCU will vacate one board seat to allow one Premier Source Federal Credit Union Board Member to join the PNCU Board of Directors. There will be no other changes to the PNCU Board of Directors.

Yes. All Premier Source members will automatically become members of PNCU.

Beginning Monday, June 13, 2022, business will resume under PNCU at which point your accounts will become PNCU accounts.

Yes, in some ways. When analyzing your Premier Source accounts, we used the most current information to guide us in determining which PNCU account(s) most closely resemble your Premier Source account(s). In some cases, your new PNCU account(s) may have different features, which we will outline in the product-mapping worksheet. In all cases, we are certain you will love your new accounts at PNCU.

No. Deposits at PNCU are federally insured up to $250,000 and are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. Government Agency. Members with accounts at both PNCU and Premier Source please note: separate NCUA deposit insurance coverage for a member’s account balances at Premier Source will continue for six months after the anticipated merger takes effect or, in the case of a share certificate (e.g., a CD), the earliest maturity date after the six-month period, and thereafter the balances will be combined with account balances at PNCU for purposes of the NCUA deposit insurance limit. Shares and Deposits in excess of NCUA limits are fully insured by Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC).

Yes, All Premier Source deposit products will transition into a comparable PNCU deposit product. Please see the product-mapping worksheet to determine what your new account will be. Your last Premier Source statement will be produced on Friday, June 10, 2022 and mailed to you.

Yes. Your new deposit account number will be your current Premier Source member number + deposit type. For example, if your member number is 1234, this is what your new account # could look like:

Current Account: Share account (01,02,03); Share Draft accounts*; club account (30,31,32); Money Market account (20,21); IRA account (40,41,42)

New Account #: Share account (123401); Share Draft accounts* (Member Number*); Club account (123430); Money Market account (123420); IRA account (123440)

*Share Draft accounts will convert to your member number.

No. All IRA/ CD rates will remain the same until maturity. All Premier Source IRA/ CD products will transition into a comparable PNCU IRA/ CD product. Please see the product-mapping worksheet to determine what your new account will be. More information on your IRA account to follow.

No. All loan rates and products will remain the same until maturity. Terms & conditions will remain as stipulated on your loan note. Your last Premier Source statement will be produced on Friday, June 10, 2022 and mailed to you. Bills will begin to be produced by PNCU after Friday, June 10, 2022. Escrow Analysis at PNCU is in June. Please know your August 1, 2022 Escrow payment will be adjusted accordingly. All PNCU loans are billed monthly via e-statements or paper. PNCU will not maintain coupon books. Skip-A-Pay on consumer loans will still be available to you. Please note that the servicing of your loan- that is the right to collect payments from you- is being assigned, sold or transferred from Premier Source to PNCU. This does not affect any terms or conditions of the loan, other than terms directly related to the servicing of your loan.

Yes. Your new loan account number is unique. Watch for your first PNCU loan statement, which will include your new loan account number and payment information. Loan account number is located at the bottom of your statement immediately following.

After Monday, June 13, 2022, you may also visit a branch to obtain your new loan account number.

Your automatic loan payment will continue to be processed as they are now. Effective Monday, June 13, 2022, if you pay your loan by check please mail your payment to: The Polish National Credit Union, PO Box 529, Hampden, MA 01036. Any payments to the Premier Source branch will also be processed as normal. You may elect to set up automatic payments from your account(s) or process loan payments through the PNCU Mobile App, online or telephone banking. As always, you may visit a branch to make your loan payment, too.

Currently, advances are done in branch or through a Home Equity Line of Credit check. Home Equity Line of Credit checks will continue to work after the anticipated merger and until reorder. If you have a PNCU online banking profile, you will also be able to advance your Home Equity Line of Credit and transfer to any of your other online accounts.

Yes. Your existing Premier Source Checks, Debit and Credit Cards will continue to work after the anticipated merger. Later this summer, you will receive a new, contactless PNCU debit MasterCard®, but all members will receive a separate notice before the change occurs. Please note the limits on your Debit Cards will increase to $2,000 per day for all point-of-sale transactions and $500 per-day for all cash withdrawals at ATMs. PNCU uses MasterCard® for debit cards, but your credit cards will remain with VISA®.

Credit card information can still be accessed thru https://onlineaccessplus.com/oa/premier-sourcecu/ using your current user name and password.

You may continue to make payments in the same manner. Credit Card payments can be made through online banking bill pay or the credit card portal; in-person at one of our branches; or via mail.

All existing direct deposits and recurring payments will automatically continue with PNCU. Starting Monday, June 13, 2022, begin using the routing number #211882091 for any new transactions.

Premier Source members who already have accounts with PNCU will have their accounts merged into their existing PNCU online banking profile. No action on your part is necessary.

If you are enrolled in telephone banking, you will need to re-enroll. Please call (888) 592-7628 to enroll. You will need your new account number to enroll. Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) has been re-set to the last four digits of your social security. For businesses, the PIN is the last 5 digits of the signers Tax Identification Number.

Some members may be required to change their username. Use your existing username (minus special characters). For example:

Premier Source Bill Pay information will be transferred to PNCU. Bill Pay access will be down at 9:00 AM on Friday, June 10, 2022 until Monday, June 13, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Please keep in mind any payments scheduled for this period will be processed as normal.

Yes. If you have courtesy pay, it will continue after the conversion as PNCU overdraft privilege with the same limit.

All Premier Source final deposit and loan account statements will be processed on Friday, June 10, 2022 and sent via mail. The next statement you will receive will come from PNCU and will have a different appearance. Please watch for your first PNCU statement, which will include your new account number and payment information.

PNCU will send (if applicable) a 1099 Form (for deposit accounts) and/or a 1098 Form (for loan accounts) for Tax Year 2022 in January 2023. After the anticipated merger, if you are an online banking member you will have the ability to sign up for e-statements and receive all your account statements, loan billing statements and tax statements free of charge via PNCU online banking.
